Risk Strategies, a Boston, Mass.-based, privately held national insurance brokerage and risk management firm, has promoted Tracy Hoffman and Matthew Smith as executive vice presidents of its National Health Care Practice. Previously, both Hoffman and Smith served as senior vice presidents within the organization.
In addition to her current responsibilities, Hoffman will work with Managing Director Riggs Stephenson. Together, they will spearhead strategies that respond to the needs of today’s health care organizations.
Hoffman has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on health care organizations. She has experience in health care brokerage and underwriting.
In addition to his current responsibilities, Smith will be working closely with Managing Director Tony Plampton to grow the company’s life, accident and health reinsurance business nationally.
Smith has been working in the insurance and reinsurance industry for more than 20 years, primarily focused in the life, disability, accident and health markets.
