Connecticut’s InsureGood Hires Taylor as Vice President of Business Development

Hartford, Connecticut, insurance and risk management consulting firm InsureGood hired Carrie Taylor as vice president of business development, and she will join the firm’s leadership team.

In her new role, Taylor will focus on the company’s growth initiatives and lead the development of the firm’s insurance practice, including the direct management of the insurance risk advisory team. In addition to overseeing the growth of the insurance division, Taylor will assist in the coordination and development of the firm’s female entrepreneurs program focused on creating agency ownership opportunities for women in the greater Hartford area.

Taylor brings more than 15 years of commercial insurance and risk management experience with an expertise in professional liability underwriting and extensive leadership experience in a variety of roles within insurance services firms. Prior to joining InsureGood, Taylor served as vice president of commercial insurance at SIG Agencies in Cheshire, Connecticut.

Berkley Construction Professional Hires Baez as Senior VP of Underwriting

Dennis M. Baez joined Berkley Construction Professional, a division of Berkley Company Berkley Alliance Managers, as a senior vice president of underwriting.

In this role, he is responsible for underwriting primary and excess business within the retail and wholesale insurance communities, fostering strong broker relationships and achieving profitable growth for Berkley Construction Professional’s contractors’ and owners’ professional liability portfolio.

Baez joins Berkley Construction Professional with more than 20 years of professional liability brokering experience. During that time, he worked with design firms, contractors, project owners and developers providing advisory and broking services for various practice and project professional liability programs.

Based in Berkley Construction Professional’s Midtown New York City office, Baez is a licensed insurance agent in California and New York.
