Applied Specialty Underwriters has launched a new infrastructure and construction practice and named Christopher Day as president. Additionally, John Schlosser has been named to lead the infrastructure underwriting section.
The newly formed practice will respond to increased demand for infrastructure product and coverage features and provide alternative markets and options for the variety of business exposures in the field.
Schossler has more than 20 years of experience in construction casualty underwriting including service as vice president of HDI Global Insurance, underwriting director at CNA and national accounts manager at Travelers as well as earlier at St. Paul Fire and Marine.
