Hollis Zyglocke has been named regional president for Markel Corporation’s mid-Atlantic division for Markel Specialty.
Markel, a holding company whose primary business is underwriting specialty insurance products, said in a news release that Zyglocke will report to Sarah Gavlick in Markel’s Glen Allen, Virginia, office.
Zyglocke joined Markel in 2017 and has served as senior director for underwriting and production, casualty/excess and umbrella in the mid-Atlantic. She replaces Steve Girard, who was named regional president for the Southeast region.
