World Insurance Associates reports that it acquired JR Tallman & Co. Inc. (JRT) of Taunton, Massachusetts on October 1, 2022.
JR Tallman & Co. started out as the Sidney W. Williams Co. in 1839, providing fire insurance for factories, stores, homes and other property. Today it offers personal and commercial lines insurance including home, auto, boat, flood insurance and event coverages.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
World Insurance Associates is headquartered in Iselin, N.J. Since its founding in 2011, World has completed more than 170 acquisitions and has more than 250 offices.
