Schrager Hampson Aviation Insurance Agency LLC, a division of Schrager Hampson Aviation Insurance Group, has announced the acquisition of Charles W. Bilella Agency Ltd, its sixth aviation insurance acquisition.
The Charles W. Bilella Agency, in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, has served the aviation community since 1975.
Charlie Bilella, founder and owner of the agency, and longtime employee Jill Scheiter, will remain with the agency.
Schrager Hampson Aviation Insurance Group (SHAIG), a family-owned and operated aviation insurance firm, is licensed in all 50 states and maintains it is the largest independent aviation insurance specialty brokerage in the Northeast. It is based in North Hampton, New Hampshire, with another office in Bedford, Massachusetts.
