Global insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of Waltham, Massachusetts-based Agilis Partners LLC.
Agilis is an investment and retirement plan consulting firm with offices in greater Boston, New York and Denver.
According to the announcement, Tom Cassara and his team will remain in their current locations under the direction of Jeff Leonard, Gallagher’s Global Financial & Retirement Services Business leader.
The Agilis acquisition announcement comes a few weeks after news of Gallagher’s acquisition of Syracuse, New York-based Dominick Falcone Agency, Inc., and Falcone Associates, Inc.
Dominick Falcone Agency provides property/casualty insurance to commercial and personal lines clients primarily in central New York. Its affiliate Falcone Associates offers employee benefits services.
According to the announcement, Michael Lavalle, David MacLachlan, Renee Guariglia, Chris Marshall and their team will remain in their current location under the direction of Brendan Gallagher, head of Gallagher’s Northeast region retail property/casualty brokerage operations, and Scott Sherman, head of Gallagher’s Northeast region employee benefits consulting and brokerage operation.
Terms of the transactions were not disclosed.
Gallagher is headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. It has 130 countries around the world through its owned operations and a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
