Former Lawmaker Lindsay Launches New York Insurance Agency

An insurance law professional and former state legislator has launched his own insurance brokerage in Tarrytown, New York.

William Lindsay III has opened Tri Pack Insurance Services, which promises to offer “highly customized, data-driven insurance” for policyholders in industries including trucking, real estate and development, wholesale and retail wine and liquor, oil and fuel service and delivery, attorney errors & omissions (E&O), commercial film and production, as well as personal policies for high-net-worth individuals.

The new firm employs insurance professionals along with a staff of experienced attorneys who are available to assist with contract analysis and review potential liability concerns and complex claims, according to the announcement.

“Tri Pack Insurance was founded to advance the way people experience insurance advisement,” said Lindsay. “Our experienced team serves as proactive risk advisors, not just intermediaries, helping clients understand their exposures, optimize coverage, and develop true strategies to plan for the future with confidence.”

Lindsay has been in the insurance industry for 25 years and has held senior positions at brokerage firms including American Phoenix, Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, and EPIC Insurance Brokers. He has also worked at RYZE Claims Solutions.

From 2013 to 2019, Lindsay held elected office as a legislator for Suffolk County.
