National broker ALKEME Insurance reports it has acquired Gorges & Company, Inc., a full-service agency based in Timonium, Maryland.
Founded in 1937, Gorges & Co. provides a full suite of insurance offerings, including employee benefits, business and personal property/casualty, nonprofit solutions, and Medicare.
The agency also has experience serving unique markets such as high valued personal lines clients, apartment complexes, condominium associations, spas, salons and wellness centers, independent contractors, and nonprofit organizations.
Curtis Barton, CEO of ALKEME, said the Gorges team’s expertise across benefits, property/casualty and nonprofits will not only strengthen ALKEME’s East Coast presence but also enhance the resources and specialized offerings ALKEME can provide across the country.
