Salem Five Insurance, a division of Salem Five Bancorp headquartered in Woburn, Massachusetts, launched its private client practice, naming Kelly Ewart as senior vice president and private client practice leader and appointing Beth Needham to the newly created role of senior vice president, director of operations.
Ewart has over two decades of experience spanning property and casualty insurance, family office advisory, and strategic marketing—anchored by key roles at premier high-net-worth carriers including Chubb, PURE and Berkley One.

Needham previously served in various leadership roles at Hilb Group, The Hanover Insurance Group and other firms.
According to Heather Smith, president, Salem Five Insurance is the largest bank-owned insurance agency in Massachusetts, and is known for “delivering consultative, high-touch” service in offering personal and commercial insurance. “This new practice elevates that commitment for affluent households with complex insurance and risk management needs,” Smith said.
