Sven Kado has been appointed chairman of MMC Germany, a subsidiary of MMC, the global Marsh operating company. He will be responsible for coordination between the heads of MMC’s German companies, Marsh GmbH, William M. Mercer GmbH and Mercer Management GmbH.
Kado, 55, a graduate of the University of Cologne and France’s INSEAD Business school, has broad financial experience and speaks German, English, French and Spanish fluently.
Commenting on his appointment, his new boss Mathis Cabiallavetta, vice-Chairman of MMC, and Chairman of MMC Europe, said “MMC has a well established presence in Germany through Marsh (formerly Gradmann & Holler) and the companies of the Mercer Consulting Group. I am delighted that Sven is joining MMC to lead our efforts to develop the very considerable growth potential we see for our businesses in Germany.”
