Direct Line, the insurance arm of Royal Bank of Scotland, has committed £15 million to promote www.jamjar.com, its online car market. Direct Line believes it can save consumers between 25 and 30 percent on special offers and at least 10 percent on new cars. There are approximate 650 online car sites in the U.K.
