A.M. Best’s rating service announced that it had “raised the financial strength rating of AXA Global Risks US Insurance Company, New York, to A- (Excellent) from B++ (Very Good.”
Best noted that the rating upgrade reflected the incorporation of AXA Global Risks into AXA’s new structure, AXA Corporate Solutions (AXA CS), which combines several units under one group.
“The company becomes part of AXA CS immediately, with the financial restructuring expected to be completed later in the year, and will operate as the primary commercial Property and casualty insurance underwriter for AXA CS in the U.S.,” said the announcement.
