In a move aimed at strengthening its consulting and outsourcing services Aon announced that it has agreed to acquire New York-based ASI Solutions Inc., “a worldwide provider of human resources administration and compensation consulting services.”
Plans call for the integration of ASI’s services into Aon Consulting Worldwide. Donald C.Ingram, ACW Chairman and CEO, stated, ” By adding ASI’s capabilities we will greatly strengthen our human resources outsourcing and compensation consulting services.”
Aon CEO Patrick G. Ryan said the acquisition highlights the increasing demand by clients for consulting services aimed at attracting, retaining and increasing the productivity of their employees. “ASI will extend our services in employment process outsourcing, performance improvement services, and compensation consulting,” Ryan indicated.
Aon will exchange shares of its common stock for ASI shares with no cash involved. It expects to complete the transaction, subject to regulatory approvals, within the next 90 days.
