Swiss Re’s forum on the potential impact of “greenhouse gas emissions” on global business opens today with a news conference at 12:30 p.m. CET at its Centre for Global Dialogue in Ruschlikon, Switzerland.
Topics to be discussed at the two-day meeting include “the status of the Kyoto negotiations on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the economics of environmental responsibility and the challenge of facing a carbon-constrained future,” Swiss Re said in a written statement.
A toll free number is available to participate at 1-800-860-2442, but as the conference starts at 6:30 a.m. EDT, Swiss Re will also make available audio replays of the speakers’ remarks for 48 hours following the conclusion of the session. Presentations and relevant news developments from the entire meeting will also be available on the Internet at : www.ruschlikon.net.
