Arch Insurance Group, a division of Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group Ltd., announced that Lesley Andrea Heath Harding has been named as senior executive of the UK subsidiary which will act as Arch’s representative office in London. She also became the Managing Director for the Property, Marine and Technical Risks Division, effective September 30.
The announcement stated that Harding, 36, “has over 14 years of experience in the marine insurance and underwriting industries.” Prior to joining Arch, she was VP and Senior Property Underwriter of Swiss Re New Markets in Zurich, where she served as Deal Team Leader for Energy, a member of management and property underwriter for the Energy Team, and “managed a traditional risk transfer portfolio of predominantly Fortune 2000 E&P companies.” She also served as Assistant Manager and Underwriter at Heddington Insurance Limited, the captive insurer of Texaco Inc. in Bermuda.
