Bermuda-based White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd. announced that its Board of Directors accepted the retirement of Patrick Byrne from the Board effective Feb. 24.
Chairman Jack Byrne noted, “My son Patrick, a director for six years, has contributed with wisdom to our board considerations. Despite his fine contributions, however, we recognize that the new regulatory requirements for independent directors will bring changes to our Board membership. This is a first step in that process.”
