AXA Mgmt. Board Member Françoise Colloc’h to Retire; Claude Brunet to Replace Her

After 22 years with AXA, Françoise Colloc’h, a member of the insurer’s Management Board in charge of Human Resources, Brand and Communications has announced retirement plans. The company has named Claude Brunet, a member of the management Board in charge of Operations and Transversal Projects, to take over her areas of responsibility in addition of his current duties.

“Françoise Colloc’h began her career at Mutuelles Unies, the founding company of the AXA Group, in 1981, as executive assistant to the Chairman. She became Vice President of the AXA Group in 1984 and Senior Executive Vice President in 1996, in charge of Human Resources and Communications. She has been a member of the Management Board since 2000,” said the bulletin.

AXA’s Management Board Chairman, Henri de Castries, expressed his “warm and deepest gratitude for her energy, passion and creativity. Françoise Colloc’h has succeeded in building a true corporate culture within AXA, a global financial protection company. She has understood that men and women, with common values and goals, are the main asset of our Group. We are committed to a strong common corporate culture and to keep conducting our business according to the shared values of the Group”.

The company also announced that Claire Dorland-Clauzel, currently head of AXA France Supports, has been appointed head of Brand and Communications of the AXA Group, reporting to Brunet.
