Bermuda’s ACE Limited announced that Paul Medini has been appointed as its Chief Accounting Officer effective immediately, replacing Robert Blee, who assumed the newly-created role of Chief Compliance Officer in March 2003.
Medini joins ACE from PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he was a partner with over 22 years of experience in their property/casualty insurance practice. “His clients included many of the major insurers and reinsurers, both domestic and non-U.S. based,” said the bulletin.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree, both from Pace University in New York.
Medini will be based in Bermuda and reports directly to Philip Bancroft, ACE Limited CFO.
