Atlanta-based Crawford & Company International, Inc. announced the formation of a new strategic account management team to support its corporate multinational clients.
“The Corporate Multinational Risks (CMR) business unit will be dedicated exclusively to the design and implementation of global multinational claims solutions, including strategic account management,” said the announcement. It will be based in London, and is “comprised of global specialists with extensive experience in designing and implementing worldwide claims programs, which blend local and regional claims cultures into the global requirement of our multinational clients.” Senior Vice President Mike Reeves will lead the new unit.
“Being the largest independent provider of global claims services is not enough,” commented Jeffrey T. Bowman, president, International Operations. “Our clients think and act globally and require claims solutions which support their business philosophy and brand values. We will provide our clients with a single point of access to create and build effective claims solutions regardless of their size, claim type or geographic region.”
Crawford said the “strategic account management team will focus on the strong existing relationships that Crawford has with the risk management community including the specialist divisions of the carrier and broker market. CMR will provide a platform for the corporate risk and claims market in key locations throughout the world.”
