Guy Carpenter & Company Inc. reported that Dean Kidd, a managing director of the firm, was appointed to lead the company’s global Accident & Health (A&H) Specialty Practice.
Kidd assumes the responsibilities previously held by Kevin Griffiths, who has been appointed Eastern Region Business Development leader.
Previously, Kidd was based in London, where he was responsible for the firm’s A&H Specialty Practice in the United Kingdom. He joined the region in July 2004 from Australia, where he coordinated the A&H Specialty Practice in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Kidd managed Hannover Re’s Accident & Health treaty department in Johannesburg, South Africa.
