“The Center maximizes the synergies between Allianz’ life and non-life insurance operations in China and offers Guangdong customers a one-stop shopping experience to cover all their personal, health and commercial insurance needs,” said the bulletin.
The new office is located at the Anlian Tower in Shenzhen. Allianz noted that “guests of honor at the opening ceremony included: Chen Yingchun, Deputy Mayor of Shenzhen; Meng Long, Chairman of China Insurance Regulation Committee Shenzhen Bureau; Bruce Bowers, CEO of Allianz Asia; Christian Molt, CEO of Allianz Dazhong Life Insurance Company Ltd.; and Raymond Wong, Deputy General Manager of Allianz Insurance Company Guangzhou Branch.”
Bruce Bowers, CEO of Allianz Asia, commented: “China is a key strategic growth market for Allianz. The opening of our Shenzhen Sales Center is testament to our commitment to developing our presence in this market and offering our customers peace of mind through excellent products and service. This also marks Allianz’ recognition of Shenzhen as one of China’s most dynamic and developed cities. The Sales Center will tap the growing success and optimism in this financial hub by offering quality wealth management solutions to customers here, such as life insurance, endowment, accident, education and health cover. We want to lead the market by providing a one-stop insurance shopping opportunity that is backed by local know-how and global insurance expertise.”
