Robert Andrews has been appointed head of global ceded reinsurance operations for XL Capital Ltd.
THe company said Andrews will oversee XL Insurance’s global ceded reinsurance operations and the placement of its reinsurance treaties. He will be based in XL’s Hartford, Conn. office.
Andrews joins XL Insurance from the Liberty Mutual Insurance Group in Boston where he served in various roles, most recently as vice president and manager of ceded reinsurance.
