Marsh announced the creation of Marsh Oman LLC, a joint venture between Marsh and the Zubair Group, a leading business house in the Sultanate of Oman.
Marsh has had a presence in Oman since 1981. It manages the risk and insurance requirements of many of the most prominent companies in the Sultanate, including petrochemicals, power & utilities, transport, telecoms and other service industries and construction projects.

Among those attending was Rafael Merry del Val, Head of Marsh’s South and East Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. He noted: “Risk is a growth industry and, as the global leader in risk management, we intend to seize the enormous potential this gives us here. We help our clients smooth out volatility, manage uncertainty and untangle complexity, thereby allowing them to grow and develop their business with confidence. We know that our clients depend on our expertise, scale and creativity to help them secure the future for their customers, shareholders and employees.”
