Germany’s Allianz SE announced that Oliver Bäte has been appointed to its Board of Management, as of January 1, 2008. He will take the newly-created position as Chief Operating Officer.
The bulletin explained that “Jan Carendi (62) will leave the Board of Management of Allianz SE on December 31, 2007. Clement Booth (53) will take over Carendi’s responsibility for the NAFTA region and Werner Zedelius (49) will assume responsibility for the group-wide Customer Focus Initiative.”
