London-based Jubilee Managing Agency has announced the next stage of its strategic growth plans with new senior appointments. Clive Buesnel will join Jubilee as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1, 2010.
Jubilee’s bulletin noted that he “was one of the founding team of Xchanging and was Managing Director for the Insurance sector operations (XIS and XCS) and in 2006 formed Xchanging Broking Services (XBS). The appointment is subject to Lloyd’s and FSA approval.”
Current CEO Andreas Loucaides will become Group Development Director. He will be responsible for “business development across the Jubilee Group focussing on new lines of business and capital raising.”
Loucaides commented: “Jubilee has reached an important milestone following the unification of our brand and the merger of our syndicates. We are now ready to move forward with a strong focus on distribution and diversification and I am very much looking forward to working with Clive to accelerate our growth.”
Jubilee Group Chairman Lord Marland expressed his confidence in both men’s abilities, and indicated that “these appointments enable us to build and develop our business for the future. The Board considers there are a great many opportunities available in the coming few years.”
