ACE Limited’s Chairman and CEO Evan G. Greenberg issued a statement in which he commended “President Obama for announcing his commitment to ratify the U.S.-Korea Free Trade Agreement.”
Greenberg added that ratification of the agreement would “strengthen our commercial ties, create enormous potential economic benefits and create good-paying jobs here in the United States. It will also help solidify further our longstanding alliance with the people of South Korea and be a fitting tribute to our enduring friendship 60 years after the start of the Korean War.
“ACE will continue to work with the Administration and Congress to demonstrate the benefits of the agreement and to meet the President’s timeline for its approval,” he concluded.
