UNFCU Financial Advisors, a United Nations Federal Credit Union-owned company, has partnered with Clements International to offer an international term life and personal accident insurance program to meet the needs of its members in the field, many of whom work and live in humanitarian crisis and war-torn regions.
These insurance policies provide worldwide protection for UNFCU members in high-risk countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The program covers natural or accidental death, and coverage for loss due to terrorism. Term life insurance may be purchased alone or in conjunction with personal accident insurance to protect the financial stability of the policyholder’s survivors. Discounted rates are available for UNFCU members with coverage limits of up to $1 million USD.
According to the Association of Americans Resident Overseas (AARO), an estimated 5.25 million Americans are currently living abroad. At least a portion of this group, plus the larger, international expatriate population are seeking reliable providers to help meet their insurance needs.
As a UNFCU partner, Clements International is also offering discounted rates on international car insurance through UNFCU’s Insurance Centre. Using www.clements.com, UNFCU members can obtain a quote and purchase a policy online.
