The CNA insurance companies announced an agreement with RSA (formerly Royal & Sun Alliance) that provides U.S.-based corporations with access to RSA’s global network.
“This new relationship will expand CNA’s reach to India, South Africa and Australia, as well as many Latin American countries,” said the bulletin. “The agreement supplements, but will not discontinue CNA’s current, 16-year alliance with Italy-based Assicurazioni Generali.”
Michael Dower, vice president of Underwriting – International, noted: “RSA has one of the largest networks in the insurance industry, including a presence in 34 countries and the capacity to cover risks in an additional 98 countries. This agreement enables CNA to expand its global reach to serve the international business needs of our U.S. producers and customers.”
Through international relationships with RSA and Generali, combined with a network of branch offices, CNA can now offer international policies in 142 key countries around the globe. In addition, agents have access to the full range of CNA’s Small Business, Professional, Technology and Excess & Surplus products, along with quality Risk Control and Claim expertise.
