Colemont Global Group, the international division of wholesale insurance broker AmWINS Group, Inc., has acquired a majority share of CMK Insurance Brokers Company Limited.
CMK Insurance Brokers will operate under the trade name Colemont Korea Insurance Brokers Limited, according to the firm.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
CMK Insurance Brokers is located in Seoul, and is led by Kyo-Joon Son. It specializes in insurance and reinsurance for the marine and construction industries.
Son will take over as managing director of Colemont Korea.
