Cooper Gay is moving ahead with plans for U.S. expansion following its recent amalgamation with Swett & Crawford.
The broker announced the appointment of Galen Brislane, a U.S. casualty specialist, to focus on “supporting its US operations to target North American casualty, product recall, environmental liability and employment practices liability insurance opportunities,” from its London office.
Brislane has “a broad based experience in the North American casualty arena. He also has a wealth of expertise in general and construction casualty business developed through a career spanning more than 15 years in both the Bermudian and London markets,” said the bulletin.
Prior to joining Cooper Gay he spent the last eight years as a partner with JLT’s North American casualty and construction team. He previously spent six years in a similar role with Aon (Bermuda) Ltd.
