Aran Insurance Services Group’s property and casualty subsidiary MiniCo Insurance Agency, LLC, will offer specialty insurance programs in Canada through its new affiliate, MiniCo Insurance Agency of Canada, Inc. MiniCo’s self-storage product line will be available in Canada during the fourth quarter of 2011 through Aspen Insurance UK, Ltd., a subsidiary of Aspen Insurance Holdings Ltd.
Coverage will be underwritten initially in British Columbia with planned availability in all provinces by the fourth quarter of 2011. MiniCo’s other specialty programs will be offered to the Canadian market in 2012. This announcement represents the third of several planned initiatives in 2011.
