International insurer Mapfre Assistance has agreed to provide travel insurance to all passengers of ASKY Airlines. The airline, with headquarters in Lomé (Togo), operates in Western and Central Africa and it has forecast that it will serve a half million customers by the end of this year. From now on, all passengers choosing to fly ASKY airlines will have travel insurance when they buy their tickets.
By means of this agreement, Mapfre continues its expansion in the Sub-Saharan area of Africa, where it currently has insurance and travel partners and customers.
ASKY Airlines was founded in 2008 and has 200 employees. It is also a strategic partner of Ethiopian Airlines, another major airline in Africa.
