Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance arm of Marsh, has been rebranded Marsh Re — retiring a name that has been in the insurance and reinsurance market for more than 100 years.
“A new name for an expanded vision,” said the promotional video accompanying the announcement.
“Marsh Re brings together reinsurance and capital solutions, with the full strength of Marsh…,” the video continued.
“As Marsh Re, we are entering a new chapter that enhances how we serve clients in an increasingly complex risk environment,” according to Dean Klisura, president and CEO, Marsh Re, in a statement.
“With the full strength of Marsh, we bring expanded capabilities, deeper collaboration, and broader access to solutions across risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting — helping clients navigate complex challenges with clarity and confidence,” he added.
