Lockton Re Hires New Execs to Strengthen Global Reinsurance Capabilities

Privately-owned Lockton and its specialist reinsurance division, Lockton Re, announced the strengthening of its global brokerage and client relationship capabilities, with a number of senior level hires both in London and New York.

The bulletin said the new personnel would “further expand Lockton Re’s existing line up of talented reinsurance professionals, as well as broadening its specialty Casualty expertise.”

Lockton listed the following people and their qualifications, who have joined its reinsurance team:
George Carrington has 30 years underwriting and broking experience in both insurance and reinsurance and is a highly respected market figure. George brings a wealth of liability product knowledge as well as broad strategic expertise to Lockton.

James Moss
has 22 years of technical and placing experience within the US and International Reinsurance markets. James has specialist product knowledge in the Casualty and Warranty & Indemnity reinsurance sub-classes.

Carla Moffett brings to Lockton more than 15 years experience in project and client relationship management, business development and analytics, across several reinsurance disciplines.

Colin Friend has more than 25 years technical and broking experience. Colin has been involved in a variety of liability programs over his career, and also has particular knowledge of General Third Party and Professional Liability, as well as UK Motor Liability.
New York

Brian Cole has 20 years industry experience within the US and International Reinsurance markets. He has considerable expertise across all Casualty lines, and most recently headed a Global Specialty Reinsurance practice for Directors’ & Officers’ Liability.

Anthony Jones has over 13 years Casualty reinsurance experience in the US market. His knowledge base spans several Casualty classes. Latterly, Anthony has focused on Professional Lines business and was a Global Reinsurance practice leader for Technology E&O and Cyber Liability.
