Specialist insurance and reinsurance broker Miller Insurance Services LLP announced that facultative reinsurance specialist Nick O’Neil has joined its team in Singapore in a new business development and client servicing role.
Nigel Cross, Head of Singapore and Asian Facultative Reinsurance at Miller, noted that O’Neill has a “wealth of technical knowledge, account servicing capabilities and experience of working with major clients. He will help us to further enhance our service standards and develop our growth potential in Asia.”
O’Neil has over 25 years of broking and underwriting experience in London and throughout Asia. He began his career as a broker with Alexander Howden before switching to underwriting in 1993. Prior to joining Miller he was a senior underwriter at Swiss Re in Singapore, responsible for a broad portfolio which included mining and downstream energy risks. He will be working with teams in London and across Asia to produce and place facultative reinsurance business and support existing client service activity.
