UK specialist and Lloyd’s broker Miller Insurance Services LLP announced the appointment of Kieran Angelini-Hurll to “help drive the expansion of its non-marine treaty reinsurance offering and international development in particular.”
James Geffen, Head of Reinsurance, described Angelini-Hurll as a “senior and respected property market figure,” and said he is looking “forward to his contribution to our reinsurance vision.”
Head of Asia Simon Weaver added: “Kieran has a wealth of experience in regions that we have earmarked for further growth. The team in Asia and I look forward to working with him to make inroads into these markets.”
Before joining Miller, Angelini-Hurll worked at Willis Re for 20 years, most recently as a Regional Director, leading three offices. He has extensive experience of producing and broking property treaty reinsurance in a range of territories including the Middle East and South East Asia, having spent six years in Singapore.
He will be based in London and will drive Miller’s non-marine international treaty reinsurance strategy, co-lead its property treaty reinsurance development with Adrian Stewart and contribute to Miller’s overall development internationally.
