Hiscox Re, the newly combined reinsurance operations of Hiscox, announced the appointments of Reeva Bakhshi as chief financial officer and Paresh Thakrar as chief operating officer.
CFO Bakhshi will be based in Hiscox’s Bermuda office. She previously held a number of high profile roles within Hiscox, most recently as Finance Director for Hiscox Europe. She joined Hiscox in 2006 from ACE.
Thakrar, who joined Hiscox in 2013 as head of Strategy and Business Analysis from McKinsey and Co., will be based in Hiscox’s London office. Prior to his stint at McKinsey, Thakrar worked for the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Ministry of Defense across a range of national defense issues.
