JPMorgan Chase & Co., the world’s biggest securities firm by revenue, named Piers Davison head of U.K. investment banking for the financial institutions group amid a shake-up of its advisory team for banks and insurers.
Davison, who was head of corporate finance execution for FIG in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for the last three years, will report to Ina De and Conor Hillery, co-heads of its U.K. investment banking business, according to a memo obtained by Bloomberg News.
JPMorgan also named Andreas Lindh as head of corporate finance execution for EMEA FIG in addition to his Nordic FIG responsibilities, according to the memo, whose contents were confirmed by a bank spokeswoman.
The U.S. bank named Laurent Nevi, who has been with JPMorgan since 1999, to lead EMEA FIG investment banking insurance business, according to a separate memo from Isabelle Seillier, head of EMEA FIG. Robert Thomson will focus on expanding client relationships in that business, according to the memo.
