Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC), the reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker, has launched Cooper Gay Uruguay as part of its strategic expansion in Latin America.
Based in Montevideo, the team will focus on placing both facultative and treaty reinsurance for personal lines, health, property and casualty lines.
Maria Ferrari has been appointed as managing director of Cooper Gay Uruguay. She will report to CGSC’s regional headquarters in Miami. Ferrari has over 20 years’ experience of the local and regional reinsurance markets.
