London-based RSA announced its appointment as the sole underwriter for Cavere Home insurance products which will be available to brokers from January 2015 via Cavere’s Magenta platform, which provides online quotes and applications for intermediaries.
Commenting on the appointment, Tim Wright, director of broker, RSA Personal Lines, said: “RSA is particularly excited to be announcing this new relationship with Cavere. We’ve been very impressed by the speed and agility they have displayed in launching the product to market in a matter of weeks. A key part of our strategy is to work with chosen partners where we have shared objectives and ambitions for sustainable profitable growth and we’re looking forward to extending our partnership further in the future.”
Paul Thompson, managing director, Cavere Insurance, added: “We are delighted to be working with RSA as we develop our intermediary proposition. Combining RSA’s wealth of underwriting experience with the efficiency of Cavere’s Magenta platform allows us to deliver a market leading, highly competitive and high quality product to intermediaries and their clients.
The Cavere Home Insurance product, distributed via its Magenta platform, offers cover up to £1 million sum insured for buildings and up to £75,000 for contents. The product is quoted on a bedroom basis for ease of application.
