Allied World Global Markets President Julian James welcomed Evans to Allied World; noting that the “launch of our own managing agency last year was a major milestone for us, and we view our presence at Lloyd’s as a crucial part of our growth, especially in Europe and emerging territories.” He also said Evans’ “knowledge and understanding across a broad range of financial services, and particularly insurance, as well as his extensive experience in Europe and with the U.K. national government, will be valuable as we take the business forward in the coming years.”
