International General Insurance Holdings Company (UK) announced it has appointed Stuart Elliot as Political Violence Underwriter based in the London office.
He joins IGI from Ace European Group, where he was a Terrorism and Political Violence Underwriter. Prior to that, he served as Divisional Director, Terrorism and Political Violence, at Willis Group, specializing in placing risk from the Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. Elliot began his career as a Business Analyst at the Head Office team of Willis International.
“Stuart brings with him a wealth of experience as an underwriter who will enhance our political violence team and as a broker with expertise in the Africa and Asia-Pacific regions,” said Andreas Loucaides, CEO of IGI UK.
He also indicated that Elliot’s appointment is “part of IGI UK’s strategy for growth in new and existing lines. We are working in an extremely competitive environment and we want to ensure we continue to provide a high quality service together with expertise to meet the needs of our clients and brokers.”
