U.S. based Lockton Companies, the independent insurance broker, has appointed Guilherme Perondi Neto as deputy CEO of its Brazilian subsidiary, Lockton Brazil, effective Sept. 1, 2015.
With extensive experience in the insurance market through various multinationals companies such as Veritas and 3Com Corporation, he joins Lockton from the Allianz Group. At Allianz since 2008, he held the position of CEO of Euler Hermes Brazil and more recently deputy CEO of AGCS for South America.
Neto holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) and an Executive MBA from IBMEC Business School. He will operate out of Lockton Brazil’s São Paulo office.
“Guilherme’s appointment is yet another demonstration of Lockton´s commitment to the region,” said Tony Gusmão, CEO of Lockton Brazil. “We are extremely pleased to have someone of Guilherme’s caliber strengthen the team.”
