ArgoGlobal Promotes Barnes as Head of Casualty for Syndicate 1200

ArgoGlobal* announced the appointment of Ryan Barnes as head of Casualty for Syndicate 1200. He takes up his new role following the departure of Paul Kneafsey who has left ArgoGlobal to join Everest Re as active underwriter of its Lloyd’s Syndicate 2786.

Barnes joined ArgoGlobal in 2011 as professional indemnity class underwriter and brings over 15 years of underwriting experience. In his new role, Barnes will be tasked with the ongoing expansion and diversification of ArgoGlobal’s casualty portfolio. Barnes will report to Bruno Ritchie, director of Underwriting.
