Stephenson to Join JLT Re’s Marine & Energy Division in London

JLT Re announced that Martin Stephenson will join its Marine and Energy Division subject to the fulfillment of his existing contractual obligations.

Stephenson will work closely with the division’s head, Nick Jay, and its senior leadership, chairing the division’s management committee. He will also join the JLT Re UK & Europe Broker Management Committee.

Martin was previously managing director of the combined reinsurance business of Cooper Gay & Co. Ltd. and Newman Martin and Buchan LLP (NMB). He joined NMB in 1990 and held a number of key senior roles before becoming MD.
