XL Catlin announced the strengthening of its insurance claims team with the appointment of Oliver Newick to the position of global practice leader for Energy, Property & Construction Claims.
Newick joins XL Catlin from Liberty International where he held the position of global practice leader for Energy, Construction & Marine Claims.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry, fulfilling a variety of claims and loss adjustment roles, serving a wide range of businesses across multiple territories, XL Catlin said in a statement.
“In his new role Oliver will be responsible for managing a team of practice leaders and will be part of our global claims leadership team. He will be based in London, UK, and I am delighted to welcome him to XL Catlin,” said Anthony Vidovich, XL Catlin’s global head of claims.
