JLT Re, the London-based reinsurance broker and consultant, has appointed Jong Kuk (“JK”) Moon as CEO of JLT Re Korea.
Moon will be based in JLT Re’s Seoul office and will report to Kenny Moyes, CEO, JLT Re Asia.
“JK Moon will oversee JLT Re Korea’s ongoing strategy and business development across treaty, facultative, analytics and strategic advisory on behalf of our core clients in Korea,” said Moyes.
“With 23 years at Korean Re, JK Moon’s wide knowledge and experience of the property, marine, aviation, liability and various mutual re/insurances, notably in the government sector, makes him the ideal person for JLT Re’s continued growth in the Korean market,” Moyes added.
“As a veteran underwriter across a number of business classes and geographies, Moon’s expertise and experience will be invaluable in helping to drive JLT Re Korea’s business, as it delivers complex solutions that meet clients’ needs,” the company said in a statement.
