RSA announced it has appointed David Germain to the role of group chief technology officer.
Based in London and reporting to Darren Price, group chief information officer, Germain will be responsible for implementing RSA’s information technology strategy to support change and transformation.
Germain will also develop the group architecture function to anticipate and react to major shifts and developments in technology, driving business efficiency and innovation through smart IT investments.
He brings over 20 years’ experience in financial services including transformation, CIO and COO roles at GE Capital, Close Brothers, Deutsche Bank and most recently as head of Technology, Operations and Product at RBS.
Darren Price, group CIO, RSA, said: “I’m delighted to welcome David to RSA. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise that will make him a real asset to the team.”
