Fidelis Insurance announced it has rebranded its managing general agent (MGA), Firestone Surety Ltd., to Oakside Surety Ltd. London-based Oakside is focused on the small and medium-sized enterprises sector of the surety market and is managed through Pine Walk Capital Ltd., Fidelis’ subsidiary MGA platform which was announced in November 2017.
The original name for the business was a working title used in the formation of the business. The new name, Oakside, has been chosen as the MGA’s permanent identity.
Fidelis Insurance announced in December 2017 that had taken an equity stake in Firestone Surety Ltd., and that it would provide underwriting capacity.
Fidelis Insurance Holdings Ltd. is a privately owned Bermuda-based holding company, which, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, provides specialty insurance and reinsurance products.
